PCNC Newsleter

As Parent Community Networking Center Coordinator, my mission is to foster an environment where our students' needs are met and their continuing growth is cultivated. To serve the best interest of our students and help them to achieve their personal goals I am committed to developing a sense of community among the family, students, teaching staff, and neighborhoods that make up Olomana. Only as we network together will we begin to see our students taking their place as responsible citizens in the community.

PCNC Mission

  • To create a community where all can connect, accept,  learn and network together.
  • Develop and provide training, support, systems, and services for the community- family, school, classroom, and neighborhood.

Although the teaching staff seeks to build academic understandings and supports the character development that is begun at home, parental support is essential to the ultimate success of each student. Parents and Guardians have an enormous responsibility and we are here to help. Please call us with your questions, your concerns or suggestions as to how we may better serve you and your students. Your involvement with students is valuable and may make more of a difference than you may think. Let us bear in mind the following General Learner Outcomes from the Hawaii Content Standards adopted by the Department of Education:

  1. Take responsibility for one's own learning.
  2. Work well with others.
  3. Engage in complex thinking and problem solving.
  4. Recognize and produce quality performance and quality products .
