A. Describe the extent to which the SID Parameters were achieved.

New bell schedule implemented to accommodate reading program at all 6 sites.

Allocated staff to hire reading teachers for the Learning Centers.

Staff training for Orton-Gillingham to support reading program.

Title I funds used to purchase books for the reading program at all sites.

Faculty agreed to obtain another library position to accommodate and support reading program.

To improve graduation rates, expansion of CB program by increasing enrollment by surveying the gap students, those approaching 18 years of age, and or are deficient in graduation credit requirements.

 

B. Evaluate the implementation of the Standards Implementation Action Plan.
    1. Describe the changes, adjustments, and/or modifications made to the Action Plan and the reasons.

No changes at this time as we are currently in an implemental baseline stage. We will be looking at better ways to change or improve our current plan to effect student achievement based on the individual needs of each of our sites.

 

    2. Describe the extent to which studen achievements targets were met.

Regular Staff development and SID cadres meetings to articulate ways to incorporate reading strategies across the curriculum to include diverse learning and to incorporate the arts.

Incorporate activities in the curriculum to address career and life skills.

Develop a better tracking assessment tool to evaluate and analyze reading and math scores to measure student gains and or achievement at all sites.

EBS and SWIS to better improve attendance.

 

    3. Describe the extent to which other targets (cross-cutting issues) were met, if applicable.
